Spirit of Horses

In 1988, Catherine met Daniel Kirkland who was the rider/trainer for Dave Jones.  She spent her free time learning and watching from the horse masters and resided at the Dave Jones Training Stable for many years.

Dave honored Catherine's intuitive abilities with horses by drawing the artwork her business cards and counseling and encouraging her through the years.  Dave passed away at the age of 83.  His presence in the horse world will be dearly missed.  Author of several horse training books, saddle maker, horse trainer and friend to all animals, Dave was one of the first "cowboys" to write about the humane training of horses.

When Catherine asked Dave:  "What is the one thing I could do when I arrive at a barn, to help a horse?" 

Dave responded: 

"Find out what may have hurt that horse's Spirit and then find out what makes that particular horse Happy, and set about to find a solution.....Just
